I hope you woke up ready to fiesta! Not only is it Friday, but it is the first Friday of the month, so you know what that means. It’s May First Friday tonight, and it is gonna be loads of fun! Don’t power through your day though, take the time to make the time you have worth while, even though you’re probably pretty stoked to start the weekend.

The Boho Teepee is a great, local place to shop. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or for a gift, you can’t go wrong with shopping here.

If you don’t know what exactly you’re looking for, the owner, Tani, will be happy to help you figure it out and find it. From Shoes to hats, she has the outfit you need. Need accessories to go with your outfit? She has jewelry, belts, and bags too! And if you need something to add to your house, she has blankets, towels, mugs, and even some local art.

The shop also has a good variety of men’s clothing as well; including shoes, button up shirts(short and long), t-shirts, hats, and more.

If you don’t already know about our town’s First Friday events, they are always poppin! May First Fridays are are probably the best, but that’s just a matter of opinion. Be sure to head downtown, tonight to join the fiesta! Support local small businesses, grab some grub from your choice of food trucks(too many to name), get a margarita to chill down, and enjoy many different forms of entertainment. 🏀 Enid Outlaws vs. San Antonio Clutch(we think)

Get your tickets, your Outlaws t-shirts, some popcorn, and support our local basketball team as they face the San Antonio Clutch… we think. It seems that this game may have been a last minute scheduling The Outlaw’s FB page says they are playing the Clutch, but Stride Bank Center’s website says the Potawatomi Fire. ⚾️ Great American Conference Postseason Baseball Tournament

David Allen Memorial Ballpark
Want to be entertained and enjoy the weather? Who doesn’t enjoy a baseball game or two? The GCA is an NCAA Division II conference, and will hold it’s annual postseason baseball tournament this weekend! Red Bird Farm | At least one ticket per group required to attend event($40 per ticket)
The barn will be filled with thousands of flowers to choose from to create a custom bouquet for you or for a gift! One ticket gets you a flower jar, flower food, selection of flowers, and light refreshments while you create! You only need a ticket if you want a bouquet, but at least one person in your group needs a ticket to attend. Play Land will be open for the kiddos as well($5 per child ages 2-18)! Turpin tunes has recently started back up again, where musicians gather every third Thursday of the month and jam at Turpin theatre in the Gaslight Theatre! May’s lineup has yet to be announced, but we will update you when we know. There will be a cash bar available.

Housing Market

As summer approaches, houses are being listed for sale left and right. People are switching neighborhoods, cashing in on equity, or of course moving into town for work.

This week’s house of the week is my house, again. Somebody buy it please! Let me tell you why you should buy my house. The house has 2100sqft, 3 bed, 2 bath. Their is a very good sized room OFF the master bedroom. We use this room for our office, but it could also be used for a sitting/living area, a nursery, or gym. The master bedroom is huge, big master bath with a full bath and separate shower. The back patio is the perfect place to host guest for a cookout or just have a chill night by the exterior fire place.
