WHAT'S UP FIVEEIGHTY FRIEND!

I trust you had an eventful weekend and a happy Mothers Day! The Flamingo was packed Friday night and the Line for flowers at Red Bird Farm on Saturday was way out the barn, plus our Mothers Day festivities made it a jam packed fun weekend for our family!

There’s a new restaurant opening today, so be sure to check that out about half way down! La Salsa also had their grand opening on Friday. I have yet to check them out yet, but I heard they have some amazing Mexican food!

There is a lot going on this week including a few opportunities to see a multiple local musicians and bands play for little-to-no money.

Cafe Volare is an amazing restaurant. The aesthetic, the staff, the food, and everything in between, you can’t go wrong here. Cafe Volare is locally owned and managed.

If you like brunch, breakfast, or a good well priced lunch, this is your place. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich is a must have, or try one of their many other options like the Nashville Hot Chicken and Waffles, Breakfast Burrito, or Benedict.

They have craft coffee that are just amazing as well as Mimosa and Cocktails.

This is your new favorite Brunch spot.

NEW BUSINESS ALERT!

Cocina de Miriam

Grand Opening is today, this morning, May 12th at 7am!

Their menu will showcase an eclectic mix of American, Continental, and Central American breads, pastries, and desserts. They say that fresh bread will be a staple in their sandwiches, as well as included in their breakfast options. They will also be offering handcrafted coffee to pair with the baked goods!

Located at 920 W Oklahoma Ave, right off of Van Buren, Just south of the old Long John Silvers.

It looks like their hours of operation will be from 7AM-2PM Monday - Friday and 7AM-11AM on Saturdays.
